The launch of  Ferrari new F138 for 2013 f1 season car was hit news on the social media.It caught a great attention.It was Ferraris turn to get unveiled today new F138.
A digit 13 is derived from 2013  and 8 is derived from no of cylinders used in engines of its F1 car which is currently permitted in f1.Ferrari aims to win this time in 2013 season.Ferrari last won the constructors title in 2008.
Ferrari team principal Stefano Domenicali called the launch a starting point for a year with only one goal: To add to our wonderful history.

This season begins with the Australian Grand Prix on March 17. Testing starts in Jerez, Spain, next week.

Fernando Alonso will be driving again for Ferrari, along with his previous team-mate Felipe Massa.
Force India also unveiled its new car today, which the team has labeled the VJM06.

The next couple of years will see an onslaught of new Mercedes-Benz models launched, with the recently revealed SLS AMG and CLS-Class, plus brand new versions of the A- and B-Class, SLK and ML, as well as a brand new C-Class Coupe all in the pipeline.

One of the most exciting prospects for the next couple of years at Mercedes is the launch of a brand new SL-Class, which has been spied here once again in prototype form. Though its proportions seem similar to the current model, a closer inspection reveals a few subtle differences such as the shorter rear overhang and the taller bonnet.

le as a 2013 model, the new car will adopt styling influences seen on previous SLK prototypes as well as the SLS AMG and even the new CLS, which will share a similar tail-light design.

A side-by-side comparison of the current SL and this latest prototype also reveal several clear differences. The new SL will sit lower and feature a wider stance than the current model. A glimpse of the interior also shows some retro design cues, though it’s still much too early to speculate on such fine details--anything can change between now and the 2012 calendar launch date.

The adoption of lightweight aluminum will improve the handling, ride, performance and fuel economy of the new Mercedes-Benz SL, which in current form weighs between 3,860 and 4,500 pounds depending on which model and options are chosen.

Much of the new SL’s components will also be shared with the SLS AMG, including drivetrains, suspension and electrical systems. This means that the SLS AMG’s seven-speed transmission is almost a certainty for the 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL.

A choice of V-6 and V-8 engines will be on offer, with forced-induction and possibly even hybrid technology, though everything is still largely a matter of speculation. Of course, the AMG 63 is expected to get AMGs stonking twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter V-8 with upwards of 571 horsepower on tap.

The RX-9 will be offered with 17- or 18-inch wheels and four-wheel disc brakes with ABS and stability/traction control.
The CompetitionCompared to the RX-8 who targeted models like the Volkswagen Scirocco, the new RX-9 will focus on competing with models like the Nissan 370Z. Do we smell a Japanese sports car war?
