Ferrari unveiled F138 car for 2013 F1 season with photo gallery

The launch of  Ferrari new F138 for 2013 f1 season car was hit news on the social media.It caught a great attention.It was Ferraris turn to get unveiled today new F138.
A digit 13 is derived from 2013  and 8 is derived from no of cylinders used in engines of its F1 car which is currently permitted in f1.Ferrari aims to win this time in 2013 season.Ferrari last won the constructors title in 2008.
Ferrari team principal Stefano Domenicali called the launch a starting point for a year with only one goal: To add to our wonderful history.

This season begins with the Australian Grand Prix on March 17. Testing starts in Jerez, Spain, next week.
Fernando Alonso will be driving again for Ferrari, along with his previous team-mate Felipe Massa.
Force India also unveiled its new car today, which the team has labeled the VJM06.

Aston Martin is looking for New Owners

Aston Martin is know for Making fast super cars.Aston Martin debuted in 1913.Aston Martin has changed the ownerships to so many hands in the past 99 years.From 1994 to 2007 Aston Martin was a subsidiary of Ford Motor company.In 2007 Ford sold 90 % of stake to a New investors consist of a American investor and two Kuwait investors.But Ford retained the 10% stake.Now the Kuwait owner are looking to sell their stake at Aston Martin.Aston Martin sales have declined in the last year.Because of the Economic crisis in Europe which led to sales of car sales.

Kuwait investors own 64 % in Aston Martin.They have approached several companies.But the price they ask is $805 Million (RS 4400 Crore).This is the same price they paid to Ford for their stake.This is too much considering the current condition of Aston Martin.Toyota is one of the companies they approached.After conducting a 1 week feasibility study of buying Aston Martin.There has no further information.They had also approached Mahindra and Mahindra.If Mahindra buy Aston Martin it will be a big achievement for Mahindra.Finally an Indian company has a sport brand ownership.But we are not sure whats the decision taken by Mahindra.

Mercedes Environmental License Plate For The S Class

How much can save fuel, a hybrid drive really? Mercedes has made the environmental benefits of its first hybrid model S 400 Hybrid test by TÜV Süd.

The hybrid drive is considered as an effective means to reduce the fuel consumption of vehicles and thus to protect the environment. Critics of the concept, however, complain that the production and disposal of the batteries that need every hybrid car care, in turn, for environmental damage. For these effects to counterbalance each other, and to investigate the environmental impact of its first series hybrids, Daimler has made the S 400 Hybrid certified by TÜV Süd.

Object of the investigation was therefore not only the fuel consumption, but the whole life cycle of the S-Class from production through the use phase and disposal. With the first lithium-ion battery

As the worlds first production car, the S 400 has a hybrid drive with a lithium-ion battery. The combination of a further developed, in Atkinson combustion cycle running V6 petrol engine with a compact hybrid module ZF Sachs makes this model the most economical luxury saloon with a petrol engine. The fuel consumption of 7.9 liters per 100 kilometers (NEDC combined) corresponds to carbon dioxide emissions of 186 grams per kilometer. The savings over a conventional internal combustion engine is mainly due to the following features: the start-stop function switches the engine off automatically when the car stops - for example at traffic lights. When braking, the electric motor is running as a generator and feeds energy into the battery. If necessary, this energy helps when accelerating - so developers can use a smaller and thus more fuel-efficient engine.

21 percent less consumption


For comparison calculations of the Environment certificate the auditors the S 400 hybrid the gasoline model to S 350th Hundred kilometers on this version consumed 10.0 to 10.2 liters (depending on tires). WRC Great Weekend For Ott Tanak
