2011 New Model Audi TTS Coupe

The new AUDI TTS gets a mild facelift highlighted, complemented by revised chrome accenting on its grille and redone foglamps and housings. Other exterior change include dual chrome exhaust tips,a distinct front and rear fascia as well as LED driving lights and a set of slick 18 inch wheels. Xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights join a tastefully sporty front end design that is high-tech, fun and yet serious in appearance.

Inside, the new model is available as a four-seat coupe and a two-seat roadster. Audi Navigation System Plus displays 3D map graphics on a 6.5-inch LCD screen, also equips with MP3 memory card slots and a six-CD changer. The Audi Magnetic Ride system uses shocks filled with magnetically charged fluid. Computer controls change the damping rates to match the driving situation, and the driver can choose between Normal and Sport modes for soft comfort or stiff fun.
Coupled with this power output is great fuel economy; the Environmental Protection Agency has estimated that the Audit TT with this engine option will return twenty-one miles per gallon in the city and twenty-nine miles per gallon on the highway. The engine employs a sequential fuel induction engine to feed the premium unleaded gasoline to the dual overhead cam valve train.
Another feature that differentiates the TT from its competitors is the standard all wheel drive system. This system, called the “quattro” system by Audi, is held over from the last model. Audi has been perfecting the system since the early 1980′s, and the system helps the car have superior grip and road-holding capabilities. All of this power is delivered through a 6 speed “Tiptronic” transmission. This transmission was first employed by Porsche in its vehicles, and allows the driver to switch between manual or automatic modes when driving.

DTM Audi Obliged Jamie Green

It was an open secret, now its official: Jamie Green leaves Mercedes and will start in the coming DTM season for Audi competitor.

Spectacular transfer in the DTM: After eight years with Mercedes-Benz replaced one of the most experienced and successful DTM drivers to the presence of Audi. 83 DTM race, Jamie Green has been denied, eight of them won, and six times he took the top spot. The 2012 season, he finished third in the overall standings. Here, the British gained the only driver in all ten races points and had until recently title chances.

"There is no question that Jamie Green is one of the best DTM drivers that currently exist," explains Head of Audi Motorsport Dr. Wolfgang Ullrich. Audi Tells Us it Has No Plans to Offer the New RS6 Avant in the U S

If you can afford it, the new Audi RS6 Avant is one of those cars that allows you to have a mid-life crisis without actually affecting the others around you, and by that, we mean you can get supercar-levels of performance with all the comfort amenities and more importantly, the space and practicality of a large family car.

Sadly, if you live in the States, this is one super wagon that you wont be able to park under your garage during this phase of your life.

In an email we received today from John Schilling, product communications manager for Audi North America, we were told that, the brand has "No plans on bringing the RS6 Avant here to the U.S.".

And for those of you wondering, yes, we did ask him if Audi had plans for a sedan version of the 190mph, 552hp RS6, but unfortunately, we did not receive an answer…
